On Monday I celebrated my 24th birthday. I wanted to celebrate my birthday as long as possible, so Matt and I found plenty of ways to extend my birthday and have a good weekend.
On Friday we had a bunch of friends from our Branch over to play Bunco and other games. We had a great time and a lot of good laughs!
On Saturday, Matt and I went to Madison. We first went to our stake center and watched the Young Men from our branch play basketball. After that, we went shopping at a few of my favorite stores--Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Target. I could buy a million of things in each of these stores, so I try to go to them as little as possible, for Matt's sake.
For an early dinner, we went to Famous Dave's and got some amazing food.
For dessert we made our way to Coldstone. We barely go there so it was a nice treat!
On Sunday, our birthday celebration consisted of making pizzas! We love our pizza and made some tasty ones--BBQ chicken and then pepperoni, pineapple and jalapenos.
Monday I slept in and enjoyed my morning. I went out to lunch with my visiting teacher--Barb. We went to a local cafe. It was fun and delicious! That afternoon I worked on my Heavenly White Cake. Mmm.
For dinner Matt cooked. We relaxed that night and that was just what I wanted to do!
I had a great birthday weekend!
I also really enjoyed the gifts I got. I got this cute Mickey thing to put outside, a new scarf, soap pump, jump rope, a new shirt, candy, a new cook book, a hand mixer and a gift card! I am so grateful for Matt, my family and my in-law's kindness!
