Easter

First off, I am so grateful for this time of year, and the opportunity to remember the gift and blessing of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and his atoning sacrifice and resurrection. I was lucky enough to speak at church on Easter. Preparing for it, I studied a little bit each day, and really feel like it prepared me for Sunday, and truly brought me closer to Christ.

I know that I can return to live with Heavenly Father again. Though it is a long, difficult journey, I am grateful for this opportunity I have to live on this beautiful earth. I am also grateful for my family and friends who have helped me along this journey.
THANK YOU!
On a different note:
For our Sunday dinner, I decided to try a new recipe--Strawberry fudge pie.
It started with a pie crust, and then a fudge brownie mixture.
You fill up the pie crust with the brownie mixture and bake it for a little bit.

Next, you make and top off the brownie mixture with a cheesecake mix.

You may ask, how could it get any better? You add strawberries! The recipe called for hot fudge on top, but I decided against that. I thought it was yummy, though next time I think I'll try it without the pie crust.

For dinner, we had the Spencers over. They are a sweet couple from our branch, and both from Puyallup. :)
They brought items to dye easter eggs. I wasn't very creative, but had a ton of fun!

The delicious desserts! The one they brought was amazing!

Looks like Neil is showing off their dessert and is proud!

I had a great Easter weekend! I hope you all were able to enjoy your Sunday and continue to remember Christ as the week continues on.
