Midwest Fun

Life has been busy.  The school year ended in the beginning of June, and I began babysitting for some friends in our branch.  Father's day was pretty recent and we enjoyed our Sunday in Dubuque, Iowa after church.  We hung out by the Mississippi River then went to a friend's house for dinner.  It was a lot of fun.

This past weekend, our Relief Society did a temple trip to the Nauvoo, Illinois temple.  I just love the Spirit of Nauvoo and being able to visit such a beautiful temple.  It was also fun to get to know some of the ladies from church better!

There were beautiful flowers all over the temple grounds!

On Sunday after church, our family friends, the Freemans, came into town from Virginia.  It was Kim and all 6 of her children.  We had a great time with them here!  Sunday was Rose's birthday.  Matt made a delicious chocolate cake to help celebrate.

All of their children are so cute and fun to be around!  We loved having them here!
Deanna also flew into Wisconsin on Monday morning to help with the remainder of the drive.  It was fun having her there for the day.  We all played and had a great time!

They loved Matt as well.  This picture is so cute!
