Staying Busy

We have been staying very busy this summer! Matt is still working hard at Lands' End and I am babysitting three sweet girls from our Branch. We've also been enjoying time with friends and family! At the beginning of June, Matt and I made a weekend trip to Illinois. On Friday, we spent the evening with our friends--Whitney, Kimra, Andy, and their boys. We had an amazing dinner, then headed to a ski show. It was so fun catching up!

The next day, Matt and I spent the day in Chicago. We explored the city, did some shopping, and went to a show called Cirque Shanghai. They did tons of cool tricks. At one point, they grabbed some people from the audience and Matt was picked to go up! They all did a little dance and Matt did a pretty sweet cartwheel. It was fun seeing him get into it!

Then finished off the evening at Gino's East Pizza, with some delicious Chicago style deep dish pizza.

We also recently celebrated Matt's birthday! We had a bbq with some friends and his family, since they were in town. He's such a great husband and I hope he enjoyed his birthday week!

While Matt's family was in town, we went spent a day in Madison.

We also went to the local pharmacy's soda shop and got some ice cream!

After a few days with the Mosley's in town, we headed to the East Coast. The Mosley's left a few days before us, and we met up with them in D.C.

It was cool seeing all of the monuments!

We spent the rest of our time in Virginia with the Mosley side of the family. We spent a lot of time playing phase ten and talking.

There was a big cookout and we were able to meet even more family. There was also a ton of great southern food and some fun dancing. :)

It was such a fun weekend. This month flew by but I've really enjoyed every part of it!
